From August 8–9, members gathered at Starved Rock State Park for a refreshing seniors’ retreat centered on growing in Christian fellowship for the new school year ahead. The retreat’s key verse, Acts 2:42, reminded everyone to devote themselves “to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Seniors Joshua Ward and Esther Min shared inspiring messages, Joshua on Ephesians 2:1–10 and Esther on Acts 2:42–47, encouraging deeper faith and unity. The group bonded through joyful praise, scenic hiking, and adventurous kayaking. By the retreat’s end, hearts were strengthened, friendships deepened, and a renewed commitment to walk together in Christ was made.
