  • May God raise 120 disciples of Jesus among college students as spiritual leaders for America and missionaries for the world.

    1. Church Picnic on Labor Day: Sep.1 (Mon) at Bunker Hill #1,11am-3pm, food, fellowship, fun. Sign up sheets available to volunteer to bring food, cook, set up, clean up, lead an activity. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, and bug spray.

    2. Men’s Ministry: Sep.3 (Wed), 7pm, dinner, RSVP. Fill out desired breakout on sign up sheet..

    3. Discipleship Class: John 13–17 GBS usual times this week.

    4. Founder’s Day: Fri, Oct.3, 6:30pm. Bible Reading Project testimony sharers globally including Dr.John Kim from France, “Spiritual Revival Among Young People

    through Bible Reading.” Praise, special chorus.

    5. Semi-Annual Members Mtg, Sun, Oct.12, after 11am worship. Lunch provided for Members.

    6. Volleyball game at Dupage: Sun, Aug.31, 3pm @Triangle Park, 1100 Crescent St, Wheaton.

    The Baptized: Noah Chung, Priscilla Ryzewski, Gloria Park, Elizabeth Park, Eliot Kim, and Elijah Lomahan, Faith Miranda, Andre Mojica and Olivia Donahue. Pray for their growth in Jesus Christ our Lord!

    Missionaries: Sungjong Lee (Qatar, husband of Rebecca Park), Jon Choi (Heidelberg UBF). Pray that they can grow in missionary calling.

WORLD MISSION

  • Midwest/Missouri Valley SBC: 6/26–29 ; “Follow Me” at Loyola U. Msgrs: James T., Dylan B., John P., David C Jr.; Life testimonies, Peer/Interest Groups, CBF/HBF programs; Orchestra; Praise; Dance. Be good hosts for all the chapters.msbc.ubf.org/msbc2025. MWF prayer meetings start 6/9.

  • MSBC Fundraiser/Scholarship: For those who need financial assistance to attend the MSBC, our elders approved a special offering on the next 3 Sundays only: May 25, June 1 & June 8. To donate for this fundraiser, please write “SBC Fundraiser” on the memo of your check or zelle donation, as a special offering (not your monthly tithe). Other fundraising activities will be a bake sale, fun run, etc.

  • The scholarship amount is $100 assistance for college age and older; $50 for HS age and under. Scholarships will be given on a first come, first served basis until the fundraising money runs out. To apply, fill out the link form in your email or ask P. Kevin for the link.

  • Vision Camp 2025: 6/30–7/7 in Seoul, Korea. “Grasping God’s Vision: God of Joseph.”

  • Canada United SBC 7/24–27 in Calgary. Title: “A New Thing.” Msgrs: Philip Wong, David Jumeau, John Koo, Ernest Chan, Samuel Mukwedeya, David Chang, Joshua Kirkland.

          P. Ron & Dervilla Ward’s visit to Central Asia (Almaty, Astana, Dushanbe, Bishkek, and Osh), return 5/27.

          Short-term mission trip to Sri Lanka this summer led  by Dr.   John K.Lee; 20 young people to participate.
