Midwest UBF held a Messenger Training Camp on Saturday, July 26, from morning to afternoon at the UIC Bible House, at the invitation of Chicago UBF pastors. With only one month’s notice, God sent 34 servants of God from UBF chapters eager to grow all the more as faithful, effective messengers who correctly handle the word of truth. Three tracks were offered as breakouts: preparing a series, writing a message, and preaching a message led by pastors Mark Vucekovich, David Won, and Kevin Albright.
Each session was packed with helpful and encouraging information. Breakfast and lunch was provided. It was a constructive and fun time as believers came together to share with one and another as future growing messengers. Please pray for them. After the first session, it was encouraged to have a follow up meeting to continue the workshop. The hope is to have this kind of interactive messenger training camp two or three times per year.
