During Sunday’s worship service on May 11, the church held a touching Baby Dedication Ceremony, marking a significant moment of faith and commitment for several young families in the congregation.
The ceremony affirmed each parent’s desire to raise their children in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, dedicating their lives to guiding them in His ways. With joyful hearts, parents stood before the church body to publicly express their faith and their intent to teach their children to know Jesus personally as their Good Shepherd.
It was a beautiful reminder of the church’s shared mission: to nurture the next generation in faith, hope, and love.The service ended with a blessing over the children and their parents, and a renewed sense of unity as the church continues to walk together in raising disciples of Christ. There was a baby dedication lunch held after the service for families in the church basement.
